HAMMER should be used in the difficult crops, i.e. alfalfa or clover mixtures with high buffering capacity and low sugar content. Also at very dry crops.
HAMMER provides a quick nitrite-gas release which is followed up with a strong yeast inhibitor from the first day of ensiling. This is especially needed as the pH doesn’t drop rapidly in these crops. During feeding, it is even more important with a strong yeast inhibitor to prevent heating.

- 2 litres application rate as standard. In case of too wet or very dry crops and buffering crops, increase the dosage by 0.5 litres. Alfalfa 3 litres
- For high dry matter levels, dilute with half water and apply double dosage.
