The efficient silage additive SKY can ensile all types of crops, i.e. grass, grass-clover, maize, whole crop up to 45% DM content.
SKY is suitable for all storage systems and ensures a fast ensiling start to lower the pH quickly, but above all a very strong preservation profile to prevent heating even in larger silos.
- Lowers pH quickly by utilizing the available sugar in the crop
- Produces gas during ensiling
- Produces the right amount of lactic acid
- The preservatives work together throughout the fermentation and are still active during feed-out
- Inhibits yeast and mould, prevents heating
- SKY can be used for dry matter levels between 25-45% with a normal dosage of 3 litres. For higher dry matter levels, dilute with the same amount of water and dose 6 litres.
